you just have to:

Eventual stains

To clean your sink of any stains that may appear, we recommend using a cloth with bleach and lukewarm water in a ratio of approximately 20 ml of bleach per litre of water. You can also use universal solvents, always drying them afterwards with a cloth.

Important: In the section ‘What NOT to do’ we tell you which products not to use for cleaning.

Wine or coffee stains

Here are some of the most dreaded stains. Wine and coffee are star drinks in Mediterranean households, but their intense flavour is matched by the headache caused by their stains.

To clean wine or coffee stains from your sink, it is best to use a damp cloth before it dries. If the stain is already dry, use a damp cloth to remove as much dirt as possible and, if it doesn't come out, fill the sink with bleach and hot water (20 ml bleach/litre of water) and let it sit for a couple of hour.

Then rinse with water and scrub with a vegetable or plastic toothbrush. If the stain still remains, repeat the process with water and bleach, leaving it overnight before rinsing.

Limescale stains

Like all good old-fashioned know-how, the answer to how to remove limescale from the sink has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to be the star solution. The best way to clean white limescale stains is to apply vinegar or lemon dissolved in water with a cloth and rub gently.

Lemon and vinegar are natural anti-limescale products thanks to their acidity. They combat the alkalinity of hard water (with a high limescale content) and are an easy, quick and effective remedy.

Dirt on the bottom

For dirt accumulated on the bottom of the sink or stubborn stains, use water with plenty of bleach and let it stand for a couple of hours.

Then rinse with water and scrub with a vegetable or plastic brush. If the stains remain, repeat the operation, leaving it to stand for more hours and adding more bleach.

What not to do

#1

When cleaning your sink, avoid using strong alkaline substances such as ammonia or caustic soda, as well as cleaning products that have been mixed together and disinfectants that contain acids. These products could damage your sink.

#2

Finally, do not use steel wool pads as they can scratch the sink. Use sponges, soft cloths or ‘non-scratch’ scouring pads instead.
